Barenaked Ladies Line Up New Year's Mini-Tour

Barenaked Ladies "Get In Line"

The Canadian-based Barenaked Ladies will be coming to America to celebrate the new millennium and have scheduled a week's worth of shows in late December, including a special New Year's Eve concert in Buffalo, New York.

The Barenaked Ladies won't have too much time to enjoy the post-countdown celebrations, however, as they will also travel to Michigan less than 24 hours later to play a New Year's Day show in Auburn Hills.

After wrapping an extensive summer tour of North America and appearing at the Farm Aid '99 benefit show in Bristow, Virginia, the Barenaked Ladies plan to keep a relatively low profile following the Y2K concerts.

Even though the band isn't expected to start work on the follow-up to its 1998 multi-platinum breakthrough, "Stunt" until next spring at the earliest, the Ladies have contributed one new song, "Get In Line," to the "King of the Hill" TV soundtrack that arrived in stores this week.

The dates for the Barenaked Ladies New Year's mini-tour:

12/28 - Washington, DC @ MCI Center
12/29 - Worcester, MA @ Centrum
12/30 - Uniondale, NY @ Nassau Coliseum
12/31 - Buffalo, NY @ Marine Midland Arena
1/1 - Auburn Hills, MI @ Palace Of Auburn Hills
