Nocturnal Traces is the first recording of Marcus Printup's working unit. Pianist Kevin Bales and Printup began playing together at Georgia State University in 1985. Bassist Ricky Ravelo and drummer Woody Williams completed the quartet by 1989. Together, they play with unbridled enthusiasm. Past, present and future intersect in one riveting performance. |
