Whenever I see a Gene Harris & The Philip Morris All-Stars side I immediately look for Ernie Andrews name. Andrews is hands down the greatest American male vocalist of his generation. Unfortunately, there is never enough first rate recordings of him. The two tracks here are most gratifying, with Andrews in peak form. |
