Frank Frost was with Sonny Boy Williamson on the King Biscuit Show in the early '50s and in the movie "Crossroads" with Ry Cooder - now he's having some health trouble…
Frank has had some serious medical problems in the last month. He has had a heart attack and developed a clot near his heart plus he has suffered a series of mini strokes and his
Kidneys were failing him. He was in perilous condition , he was transported to
Little Rock and has been in intensive care since. His condition has improved
and according to the doctors, his prognosis looks hopeful.
His physicians say that after physical therapy his recovery from the mini
strokes will be almost 100%. He will have to monitor his medications and diet
but with time should recover nicely.
Frank says he will be at this year's King Biscuit Festival. Hopefully he will
have recovered enough by then to sit and watch - and enjoy his much deserved
celebrity status.
